Happy May Day everyone! This is a much bigger deal in Deutschland, but that doesn't mean I didn't go to Pleasanton's street fair for a small dose of European tradition.
Also on the schedule for my May Day was the very first track meet of the season. With more than 100 kids on my team alone, and 5 other schools participating as well, one could say that it was 3 hours of organized chaos. But the kids had a blast! And that is what counts.
I cannot believe the school year is almost done. It will be wonderful to put my first full year under my teacher belt.
In other news, I want a dog.
