I'm a countdown type of person. Yep... "one of those". I love finding ways to make a date seem closer than it really is. For example, my parents are coming to Germany:
-in 7 more Giants games.
-in 5 more Liters of milk.
-in 4 more hair-washes.
-in 3 more trips on the S-Bahn to Frankfurt.
-in 1 more new episode of The New Girl.
-in 0 more loads of laundry.
Really, it's only 9 days away now. But can you imagine how hopeful this game was when it was more than a couple months away? Try it sometime. It's a hoot and a half.
