-Cut your hair. Like... a lot of it. Some may critique you and say this is a quarter-life crisis haircut, but I think it's just better scarf hair, really.
-Pick up your final paychecks from work for that extra "Woohoo!" feeling for your bank account. (If immature enough, you may also take this opportunity to stick your tongue out at the employees working when you leave. "Neener neener" optional.)
-Go to lunch with your sister. This means pulling her out of school-- and what high schooler isn't on board with that? Also, pray that the country you are going to has dutch crunch bread.. This is very important.
-Spend two hours in Verizon to switch your phone plan to a doubly expensive one, just so that you can barely use the phone when you get overseas because it's so dang expensive. This process may not make sense to you.
-Procrastinate on packing so that your mom comes to the rescue to play a nasty game of "Tip the Scale"; a game that involves shoving 10 months worth of your possessions into two suitcases with parameters around size of bag and weight of bag. Side effects may include straining your neck to see the scale you just bogged down with a huge bag, having to figure out the conversion of kg to pounds, and realizing that you just cannot fit the 500 page book about Abraham Lincoln you wanted to read. Blast.
Good luck, travelers!
