Happy Shark Week, everyone!
My HGTV addiction will have to take a week break to make room for the Discovery Channel's most profitable and most-tweeted-about event: Shark Week. Even the Miller 64 commercials are about sharks.
Right now, I'm watching researchers do their darndest to convince this audience that a 100-foot prehistoric shark thought to have been extinct one million years ago is in fact still in the waters near South Africa. It is called "Megalodon" and it is terrifying. All they have to do is figure out if it actually exists.
As far as timing goes, this year's Shark Week is much more welcome than the time when Shark Week was on while on vacation in Hawaii...
There are exactly 3 weeks left before school starts. There are exactly [way too many] things to do before then. Eek!
